How to add WordAmigo audio files to your phone
Practice Spanish on the go with the free VLC Media Player app. It’s the best way to organize and play your audio files.
1. Save the audios from your emails
- iPhone: Open the attachment, tap the Share icon, and select Save to Files.
- Android: Tap the Download icon on the attachment. It saves to your Downloads folder.
2. Open in VLC
- Download VLC from your app store.
- iPhone: Tap the Audio or Files tab to find your files.
- Android: Tap the Audio tab; VLC finds files automatically.
3. Create a “Keywords” Playlist, for example, it might be made of four 25 word lists
- Find your file in VLC and tap the three dots (⋮).
- Select Add to Playlist, name it Keywords, and save.
4. Add to your Home Screen
Android: In VLC Playlists, tap the three dots (⋮) on your list and select Add to home screen.
iPhone: Use the Shortcuts app: Create a shortcut for VLC Play Playlist, select Keywords, and use the Share icon to Add to Home Screen.
Troubleshooting
“I can’t see the file in VLC.”
- Android: In VLC Settings, check “Downloads” in Media Library Folders. Swipe down to refresh.
- iPhone: Open the Files app, long-press your file, tap Share, and select VLC.
