JSS Spanish Lessons—The full course has 100 pre-recorded streaming video lessons, 50 core lessons, and 50 Spoken Spanish practice lessons.

Lessons can be watched with a mobile phone, tablet or computer, and re-watched  often as you wish, 24/7, with no expiration date.

There are lesson notes in PDF and Google Docs or Word format for reading on-screen or downloading for printing. No grammar knowledge is needed. We don’t use technical jargon. Throughout the course, there are a variety of self-assessment tests and additional support materials. There is single-click access to ask questions at any time (so it is like being in a classroom, but others are not judging or distracting)

The 50-lesson core course focuses on the structure of the Spanish language, preparing you for the intense spoken Spanish course.

Each of the core lessons comes with a pre-recorded streaming video (average video length of 45 minutes)

There is a cast iron guarantee for people who already have a level of Spanish. If there is any lesson in the core package that you can honestly say you did not learn from, I will reimburse you with spoken Spanish lessons at your level, free of charge, no questions asked.

When the core course is complete, students are ready for

The 50 Spoken Spanish practice lessons.

Here, the focus is on ‘tuning’ your ears so that you can better understand the fast-spoken Spanish you are confronted with daily.

These have a varied format. Each lesson has two or three pre-recorded videos (the average lesson is 75 minutes). They are intense, so students often watch one video daily to avoid brain meltdown.

Additionally, there are many bonus lessons, a lot of extra vocabulary, Spanish expressions, keyword quizzes, and a very addictive Spanish numbers game, which is the real solution to numbers on the fly.

This course focuses on spoken Spanish, so it does not align with any standard academic course.

You have three purchase options: Buy blocks of 10 lessons, buy the core 50 lessons, then buy the 50 Spoken Spanish practice lessons later. In each case, these can be paid in four monthly instalments, or the most popular, because it is most cost-effective, buy the full 100-lesson package in one hit, as these can be paid with six instalments, each monthly.

Couples and friends can buy the 50 and 100 lesson packages with lessons only costing a €1 more for second logins and even less for families with separate logins costing as little as €0.25 per lesson.

Check out these at https://www.jamesspanishschool.com/shop3

When you purchase the course as a couple or friends, you get two separate logins, and you can each individually progress at your own speed, doesn’t matter if one is more advanced than the other as the aim is the finish line not who gets there first.

The course is yours to stream permanently, and it is not a Zoom class that will continue without you, whether you log in or not. So, this is entirely possible if you want to binge 10 lessons in a week and then take a break due to work pressure or holidays. Many people revisit the last few lessons as a refresher before continuing.

The main difference from a classroom is that there are no external noises when doing the lessons online, and hundreds of my online students who wear hearing aids can use headphones or connect their tablets directly to their hearing devices.

Also, for vision problems, using a low-cost tablet rather than a phone will enlarge images. Notes can be printed in any size, making them incredibly easy to follow, unlike in the classroom, where if you are in the fourth row, seeing the board and hearing are issues.

I will explain more about the people who do my lesson below and those who shouldn’t. But watch the free demonstration lesson, and read more of these questions and answers, and read what students say. If you are still unsure, I recommend purchasing the first 10 lessons to see if they are right for you. You can then purchase the remaining ones and continue your journey once you are 100% convinced

Most people do this when thinking about moving to Spain. They start in their home country and then combine the course’s spoken section with speaking to people when they arrive in Spain. Completing the entire course before moving is also possible, as you will have access wherever you go in any country.

If you can speak and read English, that is all you need. You learnt to do that without a bunch of grammar terms, and I don’t use them. They are just not needed,

I tell you what it is in English and then about our version in Spanish. After a few lessons, you will realise that Spanish is much easier to learn in English!
