  1. Know lots of words, but can’t string them together

Hola, If you know lots of words but you cannot put them together, this is the course for you. The more vocabulary you already know, the easier my job becomes. I prefer people with vocabulary over previous lessons, as I do not have to correct errors and bad habits they’ve picked up along the way.

So if you have lots of vocabulary and you’ve made the move—or you’re here 90 days at a time—either way, when a Spaniard talks to you, or the cashier, or your new neighbour, you have no idea what is being said apart from the odd word, and you go blank when it comes to replying.

You may have done some night classes, which have given you lots of words, or used the odd app, but this is not helping you string your sentences together, and you feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

This course shows you how to put any knowledge that you have together and make progress to converse and understand the problem. Your previous lessons focused heavily on vocabulary but missed the necessary structural logic. This has left you unprepared for your day-to-day in Spain. You know all the words, but you lack the how of the language.

That’s why we insist that every student starts at lesson one—to repair that broken foundation and finally give you the mechanics that you need. My job is to fix your structure without complicated jargon.

We focus on the essential structures missed by other courses. You’ll be surprised how much easier it is when you learn just how and why you say things in Spanish. We introduce crucial pronunciation rules in core lesson six to eliminate errors before they become ingrained bad habits.

The hardest part of Spanish is understanding native speakers speaking back on the street in the exact situation, causing you to freeze. The 50 spoken Spanish practice lessons solve these issues. These lessons are specifically designed to tune your ear to native spoken Spanish speed.

This repetitive, focused practice is the only way to build instant recognition outside of total immersion. Our focus is to achieve the conversational skills of an eight-year-old—the ability to deal with daily life and hold friendly chats. We skip all of the technical names required for academic exams like DELE or Cervantes. You need immediate knowledge of words to stop melting in real-world conversations.

WordAmigo is our state-of-the-art learning tool specifically designed to help you permanently retain vocabulary. Its pronunciation testing gives you perfect colour-coded feedback to see which words you’re saying correctly and which ones you’re not.

The course is 100% online and never expires. This zero-pressure environment is what you need to guarantee flexibility for your busy life in Spain. As I grew up in Spain, and Spanish is my first language, I know the mistakes you will make before you even make them.

I throw in a lot of humour, because studies have proven that if you’re laughing while you learn, you learn more. We also cover vital cultural insights so that you can fit in straight away.

So if you know lots of words but fail to put them together—and you want to finally stop melting in Spanish conversation—this is the course for you.

Most students go with the 100-lesson package, which includes WordAmigo free, as it’s the cheapest per lesson and can be paid for over six months in instalments if you wish. But it is still yours to keep at the end when the instalments are over.
